This great remodel project was for a family of world travelers who were pro-color and texture from day one to showcase their art, collected during their travels. Located at the end of a private drive gave this home a unique ability to fully engage with the amazing landscape, creating different oases in each direction without sacrificing privacy. Connecting all the main spaces surrounding the kitchen to promote interaction was paramount, but not with the TV as a focus, so we hid it behind a custom fireplace surround clad in herringbone walnut tiles. The multi-function flex room serves as home office, den, and guest room with custom cabinets with murphy bed. A design collaboration with Lotti @LottiLogic, who served a project manager, and led the charge on finishes and fixtures throughout.

What a fun update of a classic modernist home on the Belvedere lagoon originally designed in 1957 by Raphael Soriano, known for all-steel structures. In collaboration with Miles Berger, we opened up the double-height space with a massive 30’ wide by 11’6” high super slim 6-panel slider by Blomberg Windows for true indoor-outdoor living, and customized all spaces to meet the owners specific needs.

A complete remodel and addition to a historic 1911 home in San Francisco. The project included opening up the homes gracious spaces to the incredible southern view, while maintaining the homes rich character and historic presence. A central stair capped with skylights bring light though the center of the house, while an upper floor playroom and office serve as break-away spaces for kids and adults alike.

A devastating fire necessitated the reconstruction of a spectacular Japanese-style bluff-side residence on the Big Sur coastline. A traditional Japanese tile roof meets large expanses of glass and old growth redwood in this 3000 sq.ft. home. Rock gathered at the site adorn a spectacular two-sided central fireplace, while redwood interior paneling, and radiant stained concrete floors add to the natural palette of the residence. All these lend the home to blend with the spectacular natural surroundings.

A family-owned and operated winery in Napa Valley, Round Pond Estate exudes a casual elegance that exemplifies California wine country. Exposed fir beams, plaster walls and stone floors provide a comfortable experience for visitors to gaze over the surrounding estate vineyards and distant mountains while sampling the wines and local artisan foods. My role included working with artisans, fabricators, and other subcontractors to create highly customized elements such as cabinetry, skylights, a tasting kitchen, and custom shade systems, to create a space that worked in dual roles as a working winery and providing visitors an exemplary tasting experience.
